In round two pools, JOE UMEROGAN defeated {{Sm|DKwill}} to get to Winner's semi's of the pool. There, he defeated {{Sm|Tweek}} in a 2-0 victory, with one game being a 2-stock. After this, he proceeded to finish 17th in the tournament after being defeated by {{Sm|dyr}} and {{Sm|MattyG}}. His best performance after Super Smash Con 2017 was at {{Trn|Canada Cup 2018}} where he made it into top 8 by upsetting {{Sm|Larry Lurr}}. He got 7th at Canada Cup 2018.
