Mafia, formerly known as Irish Mafia, is a smasher from Massachusetts and is one of the top Peach mains on the East Coast. He was formerly ranked 3rd on the Massachusetts Project M Power Rankings, 3rd on the New England Melee Power Rankings, and 46th on the Summer 2017 SSBMRank.
In July 2017, he was accused of emotionally abusive behavior and sexual assault by his ex-girlfriend, a smasher in his region.[1] Mafia partially admitted the incident, but offered a tamer version of the events in a response.[2] As a consequence, he was banned from tournaments in his region, and was not included in the 2017 SSBMRank.[3] Despite this ban, he remains active online and has also competed in Marvel v Capcom 2, under the tag "Gamerjim".[4]
