*Ikan would get 33rd at his first Chicago event, Backthrow 150, losing to {{Sm|Blucas}} and {{Sm|Mewmon}}. He has missed top 16 only twice since then.
*For {{Trn|Glitch - Infinite}}, Ikan was the first player to be fully funded through the compendium.
*Ikan is known for not having a Twitter account; however, every tournament he wins is flooded with "Ikan." from the Chicago community to compensate.
*Ikan is the second Chicago player other than {{Sm|Ned}} to be ranked #1, the first being {{Sm|ATATA}}.
