He was one of Japan's top ''[[Brawl]]'' players, known best for his {{SSBB|Sheik}}, though he uses many characters in tournaments, which include {{SSBB|Meta Knight}}, {{SSBB|Ice Climbers}}, {{SSBB|Pikachu}}, and {{SSBB|Snake}}. His favorite character is {{SSBB|Captain Falcon}}, who he has also used occasionally, and achieved some of the best results at high level tournaments with the character.

In ''[[Smash 4]]'', Daiki was a {{SSB4|Mewtwo}} player, who mained {{SSB4|Mega Man}} prior to Mewtwo being [[buff]]ed to a top tier character after [[List of updates (SSB4)/1.1.5 changelog|version 1.1.5]]. He was formerly ranked 16th on the [[Umebura Smash 4 Power Rankings]], and was ranked 119th on the final [[JAPAN Power Rankings]].
