'''Cody Schwab''', formerly known as '''iBDW''', is a ''[[Melee]]'' [[smasher]] from Queens, New York who is currently considered the best {{SSBM|Fox}} player in the world, and was considered the best ''Melee'' player in the world in 2023. He originally began competing out of curiosity for how far he could progress in late Spring of 2015, but after having difficulty finding practice in person he began grinding on [[Anther's Ladder]], where he quickly rose to the top of the rankings. His play style makes heavy usage of Fox's up-air for juggles, his tilts and mobility for zoning and approaching, and quick out of shield options to create openings or end stocks. He is also famed for his heavy use of fulljumping to find openings and beat out approaches.

He is currently ranked 2nd on the [[SSBMRank Summer 2024]], and was formerly ranked 1st on the [[New York City Power Rankings|New York City Melee Power Rankings]] and 3rd on the [[SoCal Melee Power Rankings]].

In pools of {{Trn|Smash Summit 8}}, Cody Schwab went 0-3 losing to Zain 1-3, {{Sm|Spud}} 2-3 and {{Sm|Ginger}} 1-3, earning himself the bottom seed in main bracket, but once in main bracket he would go on to beat {{Sm|S2J}} 3-0 before losing to {{Sm|Trif}} 2-3. In losers, Cody Schwab would beat {{Sm|moky}} 3-2, Mango 3-1, {{Sm|aMSa}} 3-0, and {{Sm|Hungrybox}} 3-1, before finally falling to {{Sm|Wizzrobe}} 1-3, placing 4th.

In September 2021, after almost a year of exceptionally strong performances online, Cody Schwab would claim his first ever major tournament win at {{Trn|Riptide}}. He defeated Hungrybox 3-1, and then {{Sm|Plup}} 3-2 and 3-1 in two back to back sets to win the tournament without dropping a set.

Cody Schwab would later win his first supermajor at {{Trn|Smash Summit 12}} in December 2021. He notably defeated Hungrybox 3-1, {{Sm|Leffen}} 3-2, aMSa 3-1, Zain 3-2, and Mango 3-0 to win the tournament without dropping a set, claiming his first set win over Zain in the process and finally defeating every player that was ranked above him on the 2019 MPGR.

After a series of victories rivaling that of Zain in 2023, Zain, Cody Schwab, and {{Sm|Ludwig}} organized [[The Match|a first-to-10 match]] between him and Zain, the winner of which would be automatically given 1st on the [[SSBMRank]] 2023 rankings. He defeated Zain 10-7, firmly cementing his place as best in the world.
