This database was intended to list all [[Smasher]]s that have already been banned from other tournaments or that Cagt believed shouldn't be allowed to at events. Cagt claimed the GBD was only a recommendation, and that he would not personally force anyone but himself to follow it. While the GBD was generally received positively as a noble effort, there were criticisms levied against while it was active. Such criticisms included surprising inclusions and notable exclusions to the public, questionable evidence for some inclusions or a lack of transparency for other inclusions, and the fact that Cagt is a major tournament organizer with connections to other TOs, which put the claim that the GBD was only a recommendation into question. The GBD was regularly updated until August 29, 2022, where he announced in [https://twitter.com/Cagt3000/status/1564281822346878977 another tweet] that the GBD would no longer be maintained and Cagt would no longer be actively involved in any future conduct cases.
