| '''AozoraX''', or just '''Aozora''', is a ''[[Melee]]'' {{SSBM|Peach}} main. He is considered a "resurrected" Smasher from Calgary, Alberta, as he rejoined the scene in 2012 after a 6-year hiatus; he showed up suddenly at a regional tournament and took 5th place, putting him back into the Canadian community's attention. Since then, he has ranked quite high in most ''Melee'' tournaments he has participated in, and is currently considered one of the premier Peach players in his region. Notably, he is responsible for Otafest: Assault, a Calgary tournament partnered with the non-profit organization named Otafest. He represented himself internationally for the first time at {{Trn|EVO 2014}}; he lost to {{Sm|Lord HDL}} in pools in winners' bracket, then swept through the losers' bracket until losers' finals, where he lost to {{Sm|Connor}}, resulting in a final placement of 129th overall. He returned for {{Trn|EVO 2016}} for the second time, losing to {{Sm|Druggedfox}} in Winners and making it out in Losers' side, being eliminated by {{Sm|Zeo}} in the second match of round 2 eliminations. AozoraX was formerly ranked 4th on the [[Calgary Power Rankings]].

| | A "resurrected" Smasher from Calgary, Alberta. Aozora rejoined the scene in 2012 after a 6 year hiatus. Most notable for showing up out of the blue and taking 5th place in a tournament, though he has yet to win one. Since then, he has gone on to rank highly in almost every tournament. Aozora also demonstrated a superior capability in teamwork to run a tournament alongside fellow local Smashers for the province at Otafest, an established conventional event with the tournament named Otafest: Assault in May, 2013. Aozora has been on watch for being one of the most powerful Peach players of the province, known to team with Subzer0King in Doubles Tournaments. Most enjoyed by his peers, he displays sportsmanship, modesty and most of all, respect for everyone. |
