+HOPE+, formerly known as SirShyGuy, is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Hero main from Denmark. He is considered as the best Hero main in Europe and one of the best players in Denmark. He previously mained Isabelle and was the best Isabelle solo-main in Europe and one of the best in the world. He is currently ranked 1st on the Danish Ultimate Power Rankings, 4th on the Nordic Power Rankings, 87th on the Lumirank 2023/Europe top 100 and has defeated players such as Tarik, Peli, big chungus, THE SCHMIXTAPE, TriM, MazeBeans, Réhann, and Whoophee.

In SSB4, +HOPE+ played Pikachu and was often considered one of the best Pikachu players in Europe as well.
SirShyGuy is a Danish Smash Brothers Ultimate player residing in Vejle.

SirShyGuy started out with Super Smash Flash 2 in 2010 and later on got into Smash 4 early 2015, he mostly played Wi-fi via the site Anther's Ladder, and met fellow Danish player Laske who introduced him to the Danish Smash scene; therefore, with his high-pressure-oriented playstyle, and ability to counter pick with a handful of characters, he started to gain the attention of the Danish Power Rankings. He is seen as a very vivid personality and an active member of the community who actively tries to promote the Danish Smash 4 as much as possible.
Attending multiple EU tournies and doing well in his own scene, SirShyGuy was consistently in the top 4 even once being #1 on the Danish SSB4 PR.
SirShyGuy after his amazing run at Valhalla, is considered one of if not the best Smash 4 Pikachu in Europe.

As he has built up his image, a massive showing in social media and just in general, SirShyGuy got picked up by the E-sport organization Counter Point Gaming, making SirShyGuy the first Danish Smash 4 player to be picked up by an organization. This sponsorship lasted until the 26th of September 2017.

After showing himself for Xi Esport and even winning their first sm4sh tourney, SirShyGuy started having meetings with them. After a while, they came to an agreement, and SirShyGuy started to play under their team as of 30/10/2018.

December the 7th 2018 Super Smash Brothers Ultimate was released.

Realizing he was not able to adapt to the new changes, SirShyGuy decided to stop playing Pikachu in favor of focusing on Isabelle a newcomer. Next, to his Isabelle, he picked up Mii Gunner, as he already had experince with Mii's back in smash 4, and Inkling, a newcomer known to be a top tier character in the early meta.
Already showing his capabilities to adapt to the new game and new main, SirShyGuy placed 13th at Valhalla II showcasing that he might become a bracket threat for people unaware with the Isabelle MU, as he seems to claim the title as the best of the character in EU at the moment.

Smash 4
+HOPE+ started out with Super Smash Flash 2 in 2010 which helped him get into Smash 4 in early 2015. Initially he spent most of his time on Anther's Ladder. However, he would meet fellow Danish player Laske who would introduce him to the offline Danish Smash scene. He quickly became one of the best players in Denmark and would eventually reach the number 1 spot Danish Power Rankings in January 2018. He ended Smash 4 as 2nd on the Danish Power Rankings, with results such as 4th at Valhalla and 17th at BEAST 7.
Ultimate
+HOPE+ started the first month without a set main, but ended up settling with Isabelle; however, he would constantly use secondaries because of Isabelle's weaknesses. Even with this problem, +HOPE+ found success in the early metagame of Ultimate with good placings such as 13th at Valhalla II and 9th at Phoenix Blue 2, and quickly became the best Isabelle in Europe and a contender for best Isabelle in the world. He would pick up Ken initially as a for-fun character, then later as a co-main after his buffs in patch 3.1.0. With Isabelle, Ken, and a variety of secondaries such as Roy and Inkling, +HOPE+ easily became one of the best players in Denmark, placing 3rd on the first Danish Power Rankings for Ultimate.
After lackluster results at Monday Meltdown, +HOPE+ decided that he had to seek out for a new main, as the evolving metagame had worsened Isabelle's flaws. After struggling to find a new main, he would finally find light at the E3 Nintendo Direct on June 11th, 2019, where Hero would be announced. He was interested in the character's MP bar and menu list and decided to stop competing at bigger-scale events until the character was released. Upon the character's release, although Hero's luck-based moveset sparked a lot of concern in the community, it instead sparked excitement for +HOPE+, who decided to pick the character up. With Hero, he has since seen even more success at tournaments. such as 33rd at the national tournament Valhalla III and 13th at the regional tournament Smash Contest: DoKomi 2020, and rose to the number 1 spot on the Danish Power Rankings.
