Editing Smash Panel Power Rankings

The '''Smash Panel Power Rankings''' was a [[power ranking]] that listed the top 25 ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' players in the United States. It was compiled in 2006 by [[Smasher:Dr. Z|Hyugaricdeau]], {{sm|Marcus|p=Illinois}}, {{sm|Wife}}, {{sm|KishPrime}}, {{sm|Eddie}}, {{sm|HugS}}, {{sm|dcx1287}}, and {{sm|Chillin}}. The rankings were updated over the course of the year, but it was later discontinued, leaving the ''Melee'' community without a national American power ranking or any other similarly scoped ranking for many years. The idea to rank the absolute best players in competitive ''Melee'' was later revived with the [[SSBPD]], as well as the [[SSBMRank]] in 2013, albeit as a worldwide ranking. [[RetroSSBMRank]] would also later emerge to retroactively rank the ten best ''Melee'' players in the world each year from 2003 up to 2012, the last year before SSBMRank introduced a community accepted worldwide ranking.
