:Well, you need to link to the page, and since history is deleted, there would be no proof. I suppose in theory it should be valid, but there is no way to prove it so I guess you're stuck with needing to do another one. If it were a normal page that happened to be deleted and happened to have a revert by you in its history, it'd be too much of a pain for you to find and for an admin to check. If it were an obvious vandal page that you reverted to "delete this", you could link to the deleted page and it'd be pretty easy for an admin to check, but I don't think we should be linking to such deleted pages (instead, don't reference them and leave them to rot). In either case I think you should stick to existing pages. I can sort of see your point, in that if everyone else is getting to the potential rollback edits faster than you are, you'll never have enough reverts in your history to apply for rollback (or at best you get one a month or something). But that being said, if you can't fix something before someone else gets there first, that's probably a sign that we have enough rollbackers. So at the moment I'm of the opinion that this is a good problem to have.
