The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Pro Impact Random Rumble I was an unorthodox competitive Super Smash Bros. Melee event hosted in Calgary, Alberta, Canada by RJM and the Pro Impact Players. It was hosted on the evening of February 23rd, 2007 and featured two separate single elimination tournaments as well as a doubles event.

Attendance[edit]

The event was held specifically to recognize that Fox Machine, a native Calgary smasher, was in town to visit after living in Vancouver for school. Other attendees included:

Klaptrap incident[edit]

In a loser's bracket semi-final set between BackItch and RJM, the latter mixed things up a bit by counterpicking Kongo Jungle, which would ultimately only result in several of the smashers in attendance witnessing something they hadn't seen before.

Although it is not uncommon to see Klaptraps appearing around the stage, neither of the players were prepared for a 'mutant klaptrap', which was several times larger than average klaptrap, which would subsequently come crashing down in the middle of the stage, hitting both Luigi and Peach multiple times, effectively KO'ing them both in the first klaptrap combo known to be caught on film.
