Primids are doll-like creatures that serve as the [[Subspace Army]]'s standard foot soldiers in ''The Subspace Emissary''. First appearing at [[Midair Stadium]], they appear as the most frequently encountered enemies in The Subspace Emissary, appearing in every level except for [[The Jungle]], [[The Lake]], [[The Lake Shore]], [[The Cave]], [[The Ruined Hall]] and [[Battleship Halberd Bridge]]. The Primids attack with a multitude of attacks that involve hand-to-hand combat. The Primids also have the ability to jump to other platforms and areas. Primids are a generally low threat enemy as they are rather weak with below average attack power and relatively low health, meaning that they can often be defeated by one or two well-placed attacks even on Intense difficulty. They are also highly susceptible to taking knockback and are vulnerable to grabs. On the flipside, they primarily appear in large numbers, possess high mobility and utilise a larger moveset than most of the mode's enemies, which results in them being rather versatile.
