*Discounting DLC fighter {{SSB4|Mewtwo}}, {{SSB4|Jigglypuff}} is the only Pokémon character in the game to not appear in the match.
**However, this leaves each character involved in this match the Pokémon starters in the [[Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS|3DS version]], and also means this event uses the same Pokémon as [[Fire-Type Frenzy]], only that the player controls Greninja instead of Charizard.
*Coincidentally, all three opponents for Greninja in this event are fought individually in the first half of said Pokémon's Classic Mode route in ''Ultimate''.
