Plasma Wisps first appeared in ''[[Kirby Super Star]]''. They are the only enemies in that game able to provide the {{iw|wikirby|Plasma}} ability to [[Kirby]].

Plasma Wisps appear as enemies in [[Smash Run]] in {{for3ds}}. They float around, charging their beam before attacking. The beam has three level of charge: at level two it [[stun]]s the player character, and at level three it inflicts high damage and [[knockback]]. A Plasma Wisp at level three is surrounded by a green aura and is impervious to attacks.

Shadow versions of them appear inside [[Master Fortress]] in {{forwiiu}}.
