'''Paula Polestar''' (ポーラ・ジョーンズ ''Pōra Jōnzu'') is a character in the SNES games, ''[[Earthbound|EarthBound]]''. She is the first playable character to join [[Ness]]' party. The only move Ness originally learns is [[PK Flash]]. She sort of resembles [[Princess Peach]], not only in appearance, but also in that she gets captured a several times in ''EarthBound''. Her PSI moves are [[PK Freeze]], [[PK Fire]], [[PK Thunder]], [[PSI Magnet]] and PSI Shield, the first four of which appear in the ''Super Smash Bros.'' series as the Special moves of [[Ness]] and [[Lucas]], despite originally being used by Paula. She lives at the Polestar Preschool with her mom and dad in Twoson. All the kids who go to the preschool admire Paula. | |||
