The [[Online]] '''Options''' menu is an item in both the online menu and the [[Dashboard]] in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]''. While in this menu, players are allowed to adjust the following options:
The [[Online]] '''Options''' menu is an online menu item in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]''. Players will be able to adjust their Smash Tags here, they can set the profile picture and the background color of the tag.


*Create their own [[Smash Tag]]s by choosing the profile from a collection of pre-set icons and color of the tag.  
In addition, there are two other menu items.
*Assign pre-made [[Taunt Messages]] to each direction on the [[directional pad]]. Pressing a direction automatically displays the corresponding message. Up to four messages can be assigned for before a match and up to four more can be assigned for after. The ability to share messages with anyone or only with friends can also be toggled.
*The Taunt Messages tab will allow players to assign messages on the directional-pad. What gets displayed depends on the direct that is pressed on the directional-pad. This can only be done before or after a battle.
*Enable or disable notifications, recommendations, and read a collections of notices about Online Play.
*The Other Settings tab provides setting on receiving notifications, enabling recommendations, and contains a notice on Online Play.
