Multi-Man Melee is a mode of play in Melee that pits the player's character against a team of [[Fighting Wire Frames]] in various situations.  Different modes within Multi-Man Melee include:

* 10-Man Melee, in which the player must defeat 10 Wire Frames without falling.
* 100-Man Melee, in which the player must defeat 100 Wire Frames without falling.
* 3-Minute Melee, in which the player must defeat as many Wire Frames as possible without falling, during this period of time.
* 15-Minute Melee, in which the player must defeat as many Wire Frames as possible without falling, during this period of time.
* Endless Melee, in which the player must defeat as many Wire Frames as possible before falling.
* Cruel Melee, in which the player must defeat as many Wire Frames, with high handicaps and increased aggressiveness, as possible.  This mode is famous for its involvement in the [[Sonic and Tails]] rumor spread by EGM: that after defeating 20 Wire Frames in a single round, Sonic and Tails will  challenge the player and become available characters.
