It includes the top 30 largest ''Smash'' tournaments over any game in the series, as well as listings for each individual game separately (including the ''[[Project M]]'' [[mod]]).  Only 1v1 singles tournaments are included.  Online tournaments are not included.

To qualify for one of these lists, a tournament must have a minimum of 100 entrants.
