An arrangement of the theme during the opening cutscene and title themes of the original ''Pokémon'' games made for ''Brawl''. This incarnation most closely resembles the iteration heard in ''{{s|bulbapedia|Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Versions}}''. It starts as an electric guitar solo before going into an orchestrated version, which incorporates more woodwinds as well as the traditional brass and strings. For the final loop, the melody is raised in key by three half steps.
