This incarnation starts as an electric guitar solo before going into an orchestrated version, which incorporates more woodwinds as well as the traditional brass and strings. For the final loop, the melody is raised in key by three half steps.

This track is another orchestrated remix of a music track in ''Pokémon Red & Blue'', this time being the music that plays in the {{s|bulbapedia|Pokémon Center}}, which in itself is a light remix of the main theme. It originally debuted in ''Brawl''. The song begins in the key of F major, which most closely resembles the ''FireRed'' and ''LeafGreen'' iteration of the tune; after the first loop, it drops to D major, which matches the original ''Red'' and ''Blue'' version. It then rises to E major which resembles the ''Diamond'' and ''Pearl'' iteration of the tune and finally back to F major for the loop.

This track, returning from ''Brawl'', is an arrangement of two well-recognised music pieces that debuted in ''Pokémon Red & Blue''. The first piece is an orchestral remix of the music that plays inside a {{s|bulbapedia|Pokémon Gym}}, done with a brassy, percussive style similar to a march; the second piece is the music that plays when a [[Pokémon]] [[bulbapedia:Evolution|evolves]], done in an orchestral rock style with electric guitar.

 

The ''Pokémon Gym'' portion is mostly based on the arrangement of the song heard in ''Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire''; also, in the ''Evolution'' portion there is a transposition of the melody after the first few loops, which is an effect that has been applied to the motif ever since ''Pokémon Gold & Silver''.

As opposed to the original march-style feeling of the original song, this remix has more of a progressive rock style, while retaining the prominent swung rhythm.

In contrast to the original battle theme, it has a light, chamber orchestra-esque feeling, using instruments such as piano, violin, and accordion, as well as elements of chiptune; the ''Champion Cynthia'' segment, however, is very close to the original piano-based theme.
