This theme is an arrangement of a song from ''Persona 5''. It originally played when exploring Tokyo, the main setting of the game, at night; an instrumental version plays during the day. The original song has a laidback, bluesy style that primarily focuses on bass, {{iw|wikipedia|wah-wah|music}} guitar, and rhodes piano. For the ''Ultimate'' remix, the song's tempo is significantly increased while keeping the same general instrumentation; a string section is also added, and the genre is changed to a disco style, making it feel as if it were part of the upbeat songs in the ''Persona 5'' soundtrack. The new vocals have been re-recorded by the original singer, Lyn Inaizumi.

This song is taken directly from ''Persona 5'', where it plays during certain late-game boss fights, namely against Shido, the Holy Grail, and the New Game+ fight against Caroline and Justine. The second full verse is omitted from the ''Ultimate'' version of the song  - it is unclear if this is for censorship purposes, as the second verse contains the lyric "hell", or simply to cut down on the length, as the full version would be among the longest songs in the game. Interestingly, ''Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight'' edited the song in the same way.

*Much like the {{uv|Final Fantasy}} [[fighter]]s, [[Joker]] has a special [[victory theme]] that overrides the standard results theme, taken directly from ''Persona 5''. When a song from ''Persona 3'' or ''Persona 4'' is played on Mementos, the victory theme from the corresponding game is played if Joker wins.
