Editing List of SSBU Music (Donkey Kong series)

Returning from ''Brawl'', a remix/medley of several pieces of music from ''Donkey Kong'', starting off with the track that played during the opening in ''Donkey Kong'' on the NES (which also appeared in ''Donkey Kong Country'', where {{s|mariowiki|Cranky Kong}} would play it on his music box). This is followed by the  "Game Start" jingle, the 25m level music, and the music that played when [[Mario]] picked up the [[Hammer (item)|Hammer]]. This remix is based more upon the NES version of ''Donkey Kong''{{'}}s soundtrack, rather than the arcade version. To emulate this style, it primarily features synths but also incorporates piano and electric guitar.

This track is a remix of the title theme of ''Donkey Kong Country Returns''. It is very similar to the original track, but with electric guitar and non-lexical "monkey" vocals layered in. This theme was rearranged by Kenji Yamamoto, who was music supervisor of ''Donkey Kong Country Returns''.

This is an atmospheric "big beat" remix of the 25m level music from ''Donkey Kong'' that incorporates other jingles and sound bytes from the arcade version, as well as various electric guitar and drum samples. This remix returns from ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl''. It was arranged by Hirokazu Tanaka, who was involved in sound effect design on the original ''Donkey Kong'' arcade.

This is a new medley of themes from the original ''Donkey Kong'' and its sequel ''Donkey Kong Jr.'' It uses the "Game Start", 25m, Hammer, "Bonus Running Out", "Stage Clear", 100m, and "All Clear" themes from ''Donkey Kong'' and the "Game Start", "Stage 1", "Stage 4", "Ending", and "Stage Clear" themes from ''Donkey Kong Jr.'' The overall track has a fast-paced, orchestral/electronic hybrid style and extrapolates heavily on the original melodies, with the 25m music serving as the basis.

Returning from ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl'', this is the original arrangement of "Simian Segue" and "Bonus Room Blitz" (using their Japanese names) using the original chiptune soundfont tracks from ''Donkey Kong Country''.

This track from the original ''[[Super Smash Bros.]]'' is a remix of "DK Island Swing", referred to in ''Ultimate'' by its Japanese title, "Jungle Level". In ''Donkey Kong Country'', "DK Island Swing" served as somewhat of a main theme, as it played in many levels, particularly those with a sunset jungle theme. As with ''SSB4'', the song has been abridged from its original version, slightly shortening the heavy drum beat in the opening. It is otherwise faithful to the original track, adapted to the Nintendo 64's sound hardware.

This is a frantic, jazzy remix of the "DK Island Swing" track from ''Donkey Kong Country'', returning from ''Brawl''. It was previously titled '''"Jungle Level Ver. 2"''' as there was another arrangement of "{{SSBBMusicLink|Donkey Kong|Jungle Level}}" in ''Brawl'', but that version is not included in ''Ultimate''. The song varies widely in styles: it starts out with the original's percussion, becomes a fast-paced progressive rock track, then becomes a sweeping orchestral score before transitioning back into the previous progressive rock approach. This version of the track is abridged, with the opening being slightly shortened.

Taken directly from ''Donkey Kong Country Returns'', this track is an arrangement of "DK Island Swing" that plays on the game's very first stage, [[mariowiki:Jungle Hijinxs (Donkey Kong Country Returns)|Jungle Hijinxs]]. This version of the track is abridged, with the opening shortened.

This arrangement of "DK Island Swing" is taken directly from ''Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze'', though oddly, [[mariowiki:Swinger Flinger|the level of the same name]] doesn't actually play this track; the first level that does play it is {{s|mariowiki|Bopopolis}}. This is correctly reflected in the song's Japanese name. Uniquely among the remixes of DK Island Swing, it has an extra verse halfway through that features the melody from "Token Tango", the bonus level music from ''Donkey Kong Country 2''.

The final boss theme heard in ''Donkey Kong Country'' on the {{s|mariowiki|Gang-Plank Galleon}} level, from which this track received its name. In this stage, [[Donkey Kong]] and [[Diddy Kong]] fought [[King K. Rool]]. This is a brand new remix of the track, which heavily focuses on brass and also incorporates a rap segment with indeterminate lyrics.

This track was used in {{SSBU|King K. Rool}}'s reveal trailer and his character trailer on the official website, and it is his [[Credits]] theme.

This track returns from ''Brawl'', where it was titled "Bramble Blast". It is a remix of "Stickerbush Symphony" from ''Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest''. This played on each of the bramble-based stages in the game, including the first stage it appeared on, [[mariowiki:Bramble Blast (Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest)|Bramble Blast]]. This version of this track uses different instruments, such as plucked strings and acoustic guitar, and overall feels more energetic than it did within the original game.

This arrangement is a remix of the infamous "{{s|mariowiki|DK Rap}}" from ''Donkey Kong 64'', which debuted in ''Super Smash Bros. Melee''. The verses of the theme are arranged in varying styles, with the performer afflicting different voices in each one. As with ''Super Smash Bros. 4'', the track has been abridged and now omits the verses concerning Lanky Kong and Chunky Kong, along with the "take it to the fridge" outro.

This track is taken directly from ''Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat'', where it was the background music to [[mariowiki:Battle for Storm Hill|the eponymous first stage]] of the {{s|mariowiki|Durian Kingdom}}, which consists of Donkey Kong climbing a hill at night during a rainy storm, while cannons on the hill fire at him.

This track is a direct port of the music that plays during the rocket barrel portion of the level "{{s|mariowiki|Mole Patrol}}" from ''Donkey Kong Country Returns''.

This track is a remix of the music that plays during the rocket barrel portion of {{s|mariowiki|Gear Getaway}}, which itself is an abridged version of "Mine Menace", the theme that plays during the rocket barrel portion of {{s|mariowiki|Peaceful Pier}}, both from ''Donkey Kong Country Returns''. Much like the original, it is performed in a "big band swing" style with prominent brass and percussion sections, as well as [[wikipedia:Wah-wah (music)|wah-wah]] guitar and piano. The arrangement also incorporates some portions of the Jungle Level theme from ''Donkey Kong Country''.
