They make great allies, smoothly combining majestic jumps with Flying Cross Chops and Somersault Kicks, and they'll each support whoever reaches them first. Sadly, once they're defeated, they'll be buried next to their homes, never to return.

|desc-wiiu=The Flying Men from EarthBound are five kind brothers with a cruel fate. They live together in a house on the outskirts of Magicant. The brothers gladly join Ness on his journey, but if they fall in battle, they return home to be buried. In Smash Tour, they'll ally themselves with the first player to touch them.

==Trivia==

*Ness's alternate trophy in both versions resemble the Ness's Smash trophies in ''Melee'', albeit for the 3DS version having different palette swap, wearing the Mr. Saturn shirt instead of his default costume, as well as being mirrored, facing left instead of right. The Wii U version uses the same palette swap as the one used for All-Star trophy, only that it's mirrored, facing right instead of left.

*In the Japanese and PAL versions, Mr. Saturn, the Franklin Badge, and Porky's other game appearances are listed as ''Mother 3''. These were removed in the NTSC versions.

*Also in the Japanese version, Starman and Flying Man's game debuts are listed as ''Mother''.

**Oddly though, the Franklin Badge's game debut is still listed as ''EarthBound'', despite making its debut in ''Mother''.

*Similar to what happened to {{SSB4|Mewtwo}}, upon {{SSB4|Lucas}} being released as a playable character, he received trophies that match the format of other fighters: a Classic trophy matching his official artwork, an Alt. trophy depicting an alternate costume, and a Final Smash trophy in the Wii U version, with the existing Lucas trophy unaffected.
