===Origin===
A whimsical remix of ''Pollyanna (I Believe In You)'', this track is taken directly from ''Melee'', where it was known as "''Mother 2''". However, the track has been shortened for ''SSB4'', looping after the 1:46 mark instead of the 3:03 mark as in ''Melee'' and ''Brawl''. In ''EarthBound Beginnings'', the song would play in numerous parts of the game such as one of the overworld themes (Alongside ''Bein' Friends''). The song would also play when Ninten reaches the [http://wikibound.info/wiki/XX_Stone XX Stone] atop [http://wikibound.info/wiki/Mt_itoi Mt. Itoi].

This piece is a medley of ''Bein' Friends'', ''Eight Melodies'', ''Mother Earth'', and ''Enemy Encounter Theme'', all music from ''EarthBound Beginnings''. This track is directly ported from ''Melee'' (where it was simply called "''Mother''"), with its name now changed to reflect the stage which it is most associated with.

This track is a combination of two music pieces from the original ''EarthBound Beginnings'': the music that played in the [[Magicant]] area, and "Eight Melodies," the collection of melodies that Ninten would contruct throughout his adventure. An unused, blank audio track in ''Brawl''{{'}}s data, labelled "snd_bgm_K03_EIGHTMELODIES", implies that the music was to appear in ''Brawl'' first before appearing eventually in ''SSB4''.

This track is a light, calming remix of the music that would play in the {{s|wikibound|Snowman}} town in ''EarthBound Beginnings''. This track also played in ''EarthBound'' and ''Mother 3'', so the track was remixed on the ''Mother 3+'' album. The ''Brawl'' incarnation of this track is almost a direct port of how the track sounded in said album, but with choir vocals added at the start of the track. Of the three versions this song has had throughout the ''Mother'' series, it is most similar to the first  version, in the original ''Mother''. This track is taken directly from ''Brawl''.

This piece is a remix of the piece "Smiles and Tears" from ''EarthBound''. Like ''Mother'' before it, ''EarthBound'' requires Ness to collect Eight Melodies throughout the story; "Smiles and Tears" was the rendition of these Eight Melodies that played over ''EarthBound''{{'}}s staff credits. This particular remix also features the original ''Mother''{{'}}s Eight Melodies in the second verse. Like with "Eight Melodies", there is an unused, blank audio track in ''Brawl''{{'}}s data, labelled as "snd_bgm_K04_SMILEANDTEARS", that implies the music was to first appear in ''Brawl'' before its eventual appearance in ''SSB4''.

Taken directly from ''Brawl'', this track is most similar to the ''His Highness's Theme'' portion of the "From Utopia" track and the ''LOG-O-TYPE'' portion of the "Tazmily is the Stage" track on the ''iTunes''-exclusive album ''Mother 3i''. In ''Mother 3'', this track usually played in the Pigmask Army's presence; the name of this track stems from the Pigmasks' allegiance to [[Porky Minch]].

The '''Mother 3 Love Theme''' track, taken directly from ''Brawl'', originally played in ''Mother 3'' during the prologue, and was also remixed a few times throughout the game, serving as a main theme of sorts. In ''Mother 3'', this track was called '''Mom's Hometown''', with the last verse being called '''Mother 3 Love Theme'''. This track also has a short remix implemented into it of the music that played as {{s|wikibound|Hinawa}} died in the same game.
