Link swings the Master Sword above his head in a wide arc. A standard anti-air and combo option with average speed and knockback. Will combo into most of Link's aerials against fastfallers, and at least into {{mvsub|Link|SSBM|up aerial}} against midfallers. It is not as effective at anti-airing opponents directly about Link as {{mvsub|Link|SSBM|up smash}}, but does not have the same issue of the latter parts of the attack whiffing, and it hits grounded opponents.
