'''Ledge-stalling''' is using the invincibility frames gained from grabbing onto the edge of a stage repeatedly for the purposes of [[edgehogging]] or [[mindgames]] while recovering.
 
There are several ways to ledgestall, such as simply [[ledgehop|ledgehopping]] repeatedly with certain characters, or using a character's up or forward B (such as with [[Fox Illusion|Illusion]] and [[Firefox]]).
 
Many players use this technique in Sudden Death in Brawl when the Bomb-ombs begin falling on the stage and it becomes dangerous to try an attack your opponent.
