#REDIRECT Landmaster#Fox

Landmaster is Fox McCloud's, Falco's and Wolf's Final Smash. He leaps up into the sky, coming back down the eponymous Landmaster Tank and the player gains control of it. It can hover using the jump button, roll using the control stick, and fire using the attack button. Players can also stand on top of the tank, but can be easily be thrown off by rolling. As the attack ends, the Landmaster begins to blink before fading away. This Landmaster is the more balanced of the three, having centered out strength and manueverability.

Landmaster's properties
Fox's
While powerful, the Landmaster  has somewhat slow turning, driving backwards a short distance before actually turning around. If an opponent gets tackled by the tank, they will take about 15% damage. Each blast deals about 34%.

Wolf's
It appears to work the same way as Fox McCloud's, only a different color. Wolf's Landmaster appears more powerful, than Fox or Falco's, though is slower and less maneuverable, and lasts 10 seconds. Its blasts are shot much faster, and its overall feel is more aggressive than Fox or Falco's.

Falco's
It appears to be very similar to Fox McCloud's Final Smash. The weight, power, and color appear to be the same. The one noticeable difference is that Falco's jump jets appear to go higher. He is at one point seen flying so high, it star-KO's the person standing on top of the landmaster. Falco's Landmaster also is much quicker than the others.

The tank's appearance is a cross between its Star Fox 64 look and its Star Fox Assault look. It maintains the sharp and futuristic appearance it had in Assault, but still has the traditional tank treads from 64. (In Assault, the Landmaster ran on off-road wheels)

Due to it's size, the cannon of the Landmaster fires above most character's heads, requiring a bit of strategy to properly use. Also, it comes from the sky as seen in gameplay videos and even goes off from smaller platform. This makes it difficult to use in small stages such as Battlefield.

Oddly both Falco and Wolf use the landmaster for there Final Smash, despite Falco having an open hatred of it in Star Fox 64 and Wolf never using one in single-player.

Because three characters use the Landmaster, the term "Landmaster" has come to colloquially refer to any move that more than one character shares.

The Landmaster can be seen in action here.
