| Koffing appears as an enemy. It floats in the air; while motionless most of the time, it can occasionally float over to the player. Koffing attacks by using {{iw|bulbapedia|Poison Gas|move}}, releasing poisonous clouds which reduce the player's stats on contact. It releases a small amount of Poison Gas every few seconds while idle, and inflates itself before releasing a large cloud of Poison Gas when approached. Koffing flies away if left alone long enough.
