'''Jigglypuff''' is a playable character in ''[[Super Smash Bros. 4]]'', first confirmed by a leaker's [http://www.twitch.tv/yushako Twitch stream], was later leaked again in an official {{forwiiu}} screenshot on the [[Super Smash Bros. 4 Official Site|offical website]], was shown several times throughout the {{forwiiu}} [[Nintendo Direct]], shown in some [[List of Director's Room Miiverse posts|pictures of the day]], and was finally officially confirmed on November 5, 2014. It is also featured in the [[opening movie]]. It retains [[Puff Up]] as its Final Smash. Its model has been updated to match recent appearances, notably ''Pokémon X'' and ''Pokémon Y''. It is, like most other characters, more expressive than in previous iterations. It has brighter, more cyan colored eyes, which are also much smaller than in previous iterations and farther apart from each other, and a wider, higher-positioned mouth.

*Xander Mobus, the [[announcer]] of ''Super Smash Bros. 4'', has [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooegM_JZLb4 stated in an interview] that he found Jigglypuff's Japanese name "Purin" the hardest name to pronounce, owing to the difficulty of properly pronounce the "r" in it.
