| Ifrit is a recurring summonable entity, introduced in ''Final Fantasy III'' along with the Summon ability. He made several appearances in later games, always associated with the Fire element, and several times alongside Shiva specifically (''VI'', ''VIII'', ''XVI''). His attack, Hellfire, deals fire damage to all enemies.

During the battle, the floor becomes lava, referencing Ifrit's signature move, Hellfire, which inflicts engulfs the summoner's enemies with fire and inflicts fire damage. Also, Bowser has increased attack power and move speed.
