The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the Trn template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Once they land on the ground or on a platform, it will move along the surface in the direction it was thrown, clinging to the floors and the ceilings of said platforms, and periodically release sparks, which are almost twice as strong as when they are thrown at the same size. In Ultimate, Hotheads appear to change their direction when they travel offstage on flat surfaces instead of disappearing; however, if it is on soft terrain, the Hothead will fall off of the edge, and continue to fall until it lands again or falls off the screen.
Hotheads can also be attacked, causing them to grow larger | Hotheads can also be attacked, causing them to grow larger. It can be attacked both before and after setting it in motion. In Brawl and Smash 4, this was possible through flame and electric attacks, but in Ultimate, any attack can increase their size. Hotheads can reach their maximum size of roughly three times its original diameter after taking approximately 30% damage, despite its Brawl trophy description; however, if it is undamaged and takes more than 30% damage at once, it can gain OHKO power.
Hotheads eventually disappear in an amount of time inversely proportionate to their size (e.g., the bigger ones vanish faster). A traveling or thrown Hothead can be reflected, which will change its ownership and reverse its direction of travel.
