The Home-Run Stadium is a Special Stage used in the Home-Run Contest. It is a huge grassy stadium with a single small platform where Sandbag and the player start. A Home-Run Bat is just to the left of both of these. In all of its appearances in the series, the Stadium has historically lacked blast lines.
The Home-Run Stadium is a Special Stage used in the Home-Run Contest. It is comprised of a huge grassy stadium (which stretches infinitely in Super Smash Bros. Brawl) with a single small platform where a Sandbag and the player start. A Home-Run Bat is just to the left of both of these.

The Home-Run Stadium made its debut in Melee, acting as a limitless stage where players could attempt to send Sandbag flying as far as possible. A wall to the left of the platform is present, and Sandbag can be bounced off of it. While the stage does eventually end, reaching such a distance is almost impossible outside of hacking.
There is a wall to the left of the platform that Sandbag can be bounced off of; however, trying to bounce the sandbag against this wall often results in "No Distance" being awarded, due to the sandbag leaving the platform in the wrong direction. While the stage does eventually end, reaching such a distance is statistically impossible without hacking.

The stage can be accessed through the debug menu, where it is internally known as HOMERUN. If Player 2 is not set to be Sandbag, the stage will stop loading floor and background textures after the 800 feet mark. The stage has blast zones at the top and the bottom.

The Home-Run Stadium returned for Brawl, though the stage now has an energy barrier surrounding the platform that deactivates approximately 0.5 seconds before the timer runs out, meaning that the Sandbag cannot easily move off the platform. However, this shield can be broken if excessively used, or if the Sandbag hits it with enough force.
An energy barrier now surrounds the platform that deactivates when the timer reaches approximately half a second before the timer reaches 0, meaning that the sandbag cannot easily move off the platform early. However, this shield appears to have some sort of health system, breaking if used excessively: for example, a smash attack from the home-run bat causing the sandbag to strike the shield causes it to break. Via hacking, this stage can be used on Versus Mode; however, as the stage does not have any blast lines, this stage is unusable for most Brawls.

The Home-Run Stadium features a time change mechanic; as Sandbag is sent further in the stage, time passes on the stage, with the stage going from midday to night, and back again depending on how far Sandbag was sent.

Via hacking, this stage can be used on Versus Mode, though unlike in Melee, it lacks any blast lines.

The Home-Run Stadium returns in Super Smash Bros. 4, acting nearly identical to its appearance in Brawl. The barrier is now much stronger and can only be broken if it is hit with enough force, as opposed to simply being hit enough times.
The Home-Run Stadium returns in Super Smash Bros. 4, now with the camera moving faster when Sandbag is hit far enough.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
The Home-Run Stadium returns in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now with a complete visual overhaul. Unlike the previous installments, the Stadium is now more themed around Battlefield's main design, straying away from the Stadium aesthetic and going for a more medieval setting. The platform is now surrounded by water instead of a grassy field. There are items spread throughout the stage which will be collected once touched by the sandbag. When the sandbag is hit, said sandbag is sent flying into space before finally hitting the ground, which now resembles a large stone bridge in front of a waterfall background.

Before being fixed in Update 6.0.0, if the Sandbag was hit far enough to the left (after using a glitch), the Sandbag would fall into an endless void.

Trivia
Trivia
*In Brawl's co-op Home-Run Contest, it is possible to view the area to the left of the main platform. This can be done by having one player hit Sandbag off the platform, then having the other player send Sandbag flying to the left of the stage with the Home-Run Bat; the camera will continue to follow Sandbag, showing the backside of the stage, as well as its "end" if Sandbag is hit far enough.
*Interestingly, in Brawl, if hacking is used, one can see the stadium itself runs out before the sky does.
*In Ultimate's co-op Home Run Contest, it is possible to launch the sandbag to the left side of the stadium, where an odd and unused grass texture is present.
*In Brawl, in a co-op Home-Run Contest, if one player hits the Sandbag off the platform and the other player smash attacks it with the Home-Run Bat, it can be revealed that there is a sort of "back area" to the stadium.
