'''Heroes Vs. Villains''' was an [[Event Tourney]] with a theme of both heroic and villainous fighters, commemorating the release of {{SSBU|Hero}}. During the event, only certain characters could be chosen. 

The event originally ran from 6 a.m. on August 9, 2019 to 6 a.m. on August 12, 2019 ({{s|wikipedia|UTC}}), and was repeated on the following dates:
* 6 a.m. on November 26, 2021 to 6 a.m. on November 29, 2021 (UTC)
* 6 a.m. on November 25, 2022 to 6 a.m. on November 28, 2022 (UTC)
*6 a.m. on November 24, 2023 to 6 a.m. on November 27, 2023 (UTC).
