| | Groudon is a legendary Pokémon that made its debut in the 3rd Generation games ''Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire'' for the Game Boy Advance. Groudon, a massive bipedal lizard-like titan composed of rocky matter, is the "cover mascot" of the Ruby Version and the opposing counterpart to the Sapphire Version's cover mascot [[Kyogre]]. Groudon embodies the landmasses and continents of the world, hence dryness and drought, just as Kyogre embodies the world's oceans.
