The Golden Squeaky Hammer is an item in SSBB. Although indistinguishable from a normal Golden Hammer, it is completely useless; instead of the usual heavy damage and knockback, it simply squeaks when it strikes a foe, causing no ill effect. This is the Golden Hammer's parallel to the normal Hammer's Headless Hammer.

The Golden Squeaky Hammer is interesting, because one can only tell one has it when one tries to hit someone with it, meaning until you've actually hit someone, most people will believe you are using a Genuine Golden Hammer, unlike the Headless Hammer, which is noticeable and punishable immediately. The only downside is once your opponent realizes you have a Golden Squeaky Hammer, they are likely in the perfect position to quickly take advantage of the situation.

Trivia
*The music played with the Golden Hammer is the Power-Up Music on the Mario Bros. Stage.
