Overview
Often called the Volcano Kick, Ganondorf holds his leg up for a time, then smashes it down in an explosive axe kick.
Ganondorf holds his leg up and preforms an axe kick that produces an deadly explosion, nicknamed as the Volcano Kick. It has three different hitboxes: on the leg, on the middle of the explosion, and end of the explosion. The hitbox on his leg is the sweetspot, dealing the most damage and knockback while the hitbox on the explosion is the sourspot, dealing the least damage and knockback. On frames 6-70 it produces a vacuum effect that sucks opponents towards Ganondorf, helping him land the move. It has deceptively large range, making it good for edge-guarding. The sweetspot is incredibly powerful, being able to KO at low percents at the ledge, and can instantly break full shields on hit. However, it has incredibly long start-up, with a total of 81 frames making it a very risky but highly rewarding move.

The sweetspot is incredibly powerful, being able to KO at low percents at the ledge, as well as instantly breaking full shields on hit. It is the strongest up tilt in the game, as well as the strongest tilt overall. However, its immense power is kept in check by its incredibly long startup, making it a very risky but highly rewarding move.
