| The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Forum:Why? Why? Why?
Why are we making pages about crews? Why are we making pages about fan-games made by those crews. I mean, Super Smash Flash? Smashtasm? I'm surprised we haven't put them up for deletion. - Articles on fan games, crews, and websites are actually really helpful to the wiki. See Raising your wiki's Google ranking] on Wikia Help. Mainly, these articles increase awareness of the wiki and encourage users to contribute to the wiki and add their own sites, fan games, and crews, resulting in more activity on the wiki.--Richard 16:16, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

I agree with X. I do NOT like the idea of some nobody planing to use our wiki to gain popularity. Along with that, you people are using the though of a person having their own page to bait people in, because you want to be more popular. I never liked Smash Flash, or the crews, or the smasher's articles. IF there is a completely valid reason we have all those things (and don't call video gaming a sport again, please) I would like to hear it. I mean, no sport has 181 teams on it. Toomai said that there can't be any fanon on Smashwiki, and articles on fangames like Super Smash Flash "would be deleted without question." Just saying.-Brawlingbrian
