Editing Forum:Splitting the tournament categories

Currently, we only have two tournament categories: [[:Category:Regional tournaments]] and [[:Category:National tournaments]]. However, these categories are rather misleading, as they are grouping together tournaments that differ significantly on how stacked they are. For example, {{Trn|Tri-state Showdown: Fall 2019}} is grouped as a national alongside {{Trn|EVO 2019}} despite the former having significantly less top and high-level players in attendance, and it's inaccurate to assume that these two tournaments were similarly stacked. To better represent the size of each tournaments, I'm proposing to split either both categories or just the national category, as the problems are most apparent in the latter. Here's how I propose they should be split:
*Regionals: Split into regionals and super regionals
*Nationals: Either split into nationals and majors, or into nationals, majors, and supermajors.
If anyone worries how we'd categorize these tournaments, we've historically used rankings such as the [[PGR]] and [[OrionRank]] to go off of, or we took a look at how many top and high-level players are in attendance. What size they are are also usually noted on the tournament page itself, so we don't need to look through all the older brackets. :I was initially onboard with splitting the "Nationals" category into "Nationals" and "Majors", but after talking to Omega Tyrant on Discord, I now think the best solution would be to rename the "Nationals" category to "Majors" and axe all of the "nationals" that are clearly not A/S-Tier equivalents. Additionally, we should note on the "Tournament" page that the term "national" has become somewhat antiquated and has changed definitions over time from what it was originally intended to mean. For example, a "national/international" initially referred to an event that would be considered the equivalent to a "major/supermajor" in the present day. :Per what I stated on Discord, the best solution would be to make a "Super regional" and "Super major" category, while renaming the "National" category to "Major". Additionally, we rename the "List of nationals" page to "List of majors", and edit it to better reflect the definition, while making the necessary edits to other pages to reflect the terminology change. I do agree that these categories are too broad, and we have had too much confusion these past several years over what exactly constitutes a "national", given its antiquity as a term and that the wiki's usage did not jibe what would be the intuitive meaning of the term (as in, when countries with weaker scenes would have tournaments that got attendance from their entire country, thus having "national" attendance, yet they weren't on the level of a major and so we wouldn't categorize them as "nationals", leading to editing disputes over it).

And the game splitting categories perhaps can be handled by bot, like how the online icon was handled last time. I have my own spreadsheet of a bunch of tournaments split into regionals, nationals and majors that’d I’d be more than willing to give. I also have ones for the other games, but PGR and OrionRank cover Smash 4 and Ult pretty well, and my 64/Brawl/PM ones I don’t feel confident enough in yet to give out to people, but yeah.
