The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the Trn template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

:As for your suggestion, I'd have to recommend having it link to competitive philosophy. We'd have to expand it a bit to be a general hub for competitive gaming so that it had links to major tournaments and smashers if you ask me, but overall, it's the best starting page unless we want to make something new. <span style="font-family:Orbitron"><span style="color:maroon">Mega</span><span style="color:silver">Tron1</span></span> 13:24, 11 May 2016 (EDT)

::Bracket images seem excessive to me when we can simply link to Challonge or other external sources for a lot of cases. As for the sidebar, I'm hesitant to include competitive things too heavily. I would be quite opposed to include it above the search bar, for example. :::Challonge doesn't bother with the character matchups specifically. Almost no website does except for the Liquipedia derivatives do. Even with that said, this is still a small quality of life thing that I only brought up now because of how conquerable it is at this moment in time, as opposed to the future.
:::As for the sidebar part, I'm fairly certain that a single bullet point isn't going to heavily ruin anyone's experience here. Honestly, the modes bullet point is arguably less useful than a competitive bullet point would be. <span style="font-family:Orbitron"><span style="color:maroon">Mega</span><span style="color:silver">Tron1</span></span> 16:33, 11 May 2016 (EDT)

:The lowercase sidebar headers are a wiki standard, and I am not sure if it's possible to change them through MediaWiki, because if you look here, we have them capitalized. <span style="font-family:Monotype Corsiva; font-size:12pt"><span style="color:#083; text-shadow:0px 0px 3px #0b7">Serpent</span> <span style="color:#ed0; text-shadow:0px 0px 3px #fd0">King</span></span> 13:29, 11 May 2016 (EDT)
