On this wiki, we always place the year before the title on MPGR/SSBMRank articles. However, generally speaking, MPGR and SSBMRanks have been referred to on non-wiki articles, Twitter, reddit, and Smashboards, with the year after the title. So for example, [https://www.redbull.com/us-en/mpgr-2019-100-91 MPGR 2019] instead of [[2019 MPGR]] or [http://web.archive.org/web/20160203055725/http://www.meleeitonme.com/ssbmrank2015/ SSBMRank 2015] instead of [[2015 SSBMRank]]. Looking through the history of the rankings, I initially thought placing the year before the title was a carry over from 2013 SSBMRank, but even then that ranking was officially referred to as "SSBM 2013 Rank" or simply "SSBMRank". The only rankings that do officially place the year before the title are the Summer MPGRs, but even then this is inconsistent as they are referred also referred to [https://www.redbull.com/us-en/mpgr-summer-2019 MPGR Summer <year>] too. I imagine it's merely interchangeable. | On this wiki, we always place the year before the title on MPGR/SSBMRank articles.
