The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

The Flame Chomp is an enemy introduced in ''Super Mario Bros. 3'' that floats around in the sky and shoots fireballs at Mario. Each one can shoot up to four before it explodes.
The Flame Chomp made its debut as a recurring enemy in ''{{s|mariowiki|Super Mario Bros. 3}}'', and has become a recurring enemy in later ''Mario'' games. They are airborne, malicious-looking and metallic spheres with white and pupilless eyes, mouths with sharp teeth and are often trailed by a quartet of fireballs. They are uncommon enemies encountered in each of their game appearances, usually appearing in at least one level.

The Flame Chomps attack by shooting their fireballs at the player. Once they shoot all of their fireballs, they become faster and start flashing, finally exploding after a while.

Flame Chomps appear as enemies in [[Smash Run]]. Their tail is composed of four fireballs, which deal damage on contact. They can also shoot their fireballs, which can be [[reflect]]ed. After they run out of fireballs, they follow the player and attempt to explode on them.

|desc-ntsc=If you thought Chain Chomps were bad, wait till you meet Flame Chomps. They use the flames that make up their tail as ammo, and when they run out, they head straight for you and self-destruct. When you defeat one, it'll explode and take out any enemies nearby, and it'll leave a whole load of stat boosts behind, too.
