The player is given two stocks, while the computer characters are given one stock each.

Upon completion of this event, the player will receive a [[CD]] containing the {{SSBBMusicLink|Pokémon|Road to Viridian City (From Pallet Town/Pewter City)}} track, which plays on [[Pokémon Stadium 2]], despite {{SSBBMusicLink|Pokémon|Team Galactic Battle!}} playing instead of the aforementioned track in this event.

*Despite the event taking place on [[Pokémon Stadium]], the picture oddly shows the opponents on [[Pokémon Stadium 2]]. Also, while Squirtle and Ivysaur use their red and green costumes, respectively, the picture shows their default colors.
*The opponents' respective {{SSBB|Pokémon Trainer}}s are absent in this event. As a result, [[Pokémon Change]] cannot be used. 
*This event uses the music track {{SSBBMusicLink|Pokémon|Team Galactic Battle!}}, which usually plays on [[Spear Pillar]], rather than on Pokémon Stadium.
*All four characters who appear in this event are fought in Round 4 of {{SSBU|Mario}}'s Classic Mode route in ''Ultimate''.
