'''Event Match 29: Triforce Gathering''' is the 29th [[event match]] of the 51 event matches in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]''. 

The player controls {{SSBM|Link}} and must win a [[stock]] match against a CPU {{SSBM|Ganondorf}} on the [[Temple]] stage. Link is joined by a CPU {{SSBM|Zelda}} ally. The CPU Ganondorf's [[artificial intelligence]] is set at Level 8, while the CPU Zelda ally's artificial intelligence is set at Level 7.

When the match starts, Link will spawn on the left side of the center of the stage, while Ganondorf will spawn on the topmost platform and Zelda will spawn on the right side of the stage. Link and Zelda will start with 1 stock while Ganondorf will start with 2 stocks. If either Link or Zelda is [[KO]]'d, it will result in a loss.

Completing this event match will unlock Ganondorf as a challenger and a playable character (if not already unlocked by playing 600 VS. matches).
