The player fights as {{SSBB|Samus}}, who must survive the lava wave on [[Norfair]] by getting inside the safety capsule; however, she must also leave her opponents, {{SSBB|Captain Falcon}} and {{SSBB|Fox}}, outside of it. Dodging the lava using any other method will count as a failure. All players start at 300% [[damage]], like in [[Sudden Death]].

 

*Like [[Event 6: Super Bowser Bros.|Super Bowser Bros.]], even if the opponents are launched over the upper [[blast line]] during this event, they unusually don't get [[Star KO|star]] or [[screen KO]]'d, instead using the colorful explosion that occurs otherwise.

*This is one of two solo events (or three events; if counting [[Co-Op Event 3: Fastest, Shortest, Sudden Death]]) where the player starts off with given [[damage]] (300%); the other being [[Event 25: The Aura Is With Me]], where the player starts off with 182% damage. In [[Co-Op Event 3: Fastest, Shortest, Sudden Death]], both of the two co-op event players (P1 and P2) and their opponents have 300% damage.
