Use Yoshi's B button attack or one of Donkey Kong's upward A attacks to separate the Ice Climbers. Then, knock Popo out of the way and quickly smash Nana off the stage.}}
 
The player controls a fighter of their choice and must win a 1-minute [[stock]] match against two computer-controlled pairs of {{SSBM|Ice Climbers}} on the [[Princess Peach's Castle]] stage. One of the Ice Climbers pairs' [[artificial intelligence]] is set at Level 2, while the other's is set at Level 3.
 
When the match starts, the player's character will spawn on the leftmost green soft platform, while the first Ice Climbers pair spawns on the left side of the center of the stage and the second Ice Climbers pair spawns on the rightmost green soft platform. The player must [[KO]] both Nanas in 1 minute. If the player KOs either Popo, it will result in a loss. The Ice Climbers only jump and do not attack unless they are knocked offstage. Additionally, Nana will attack the player when Popo is being attacked.

==Trivia==
*This event match features a slight delay between the time that the player KOs Nana and when the game recognizes said KO, in order to check that the player has not simply KO'd both climbers of a pair; since both duos are configured so that Popo is in the lead, KOing Nana will not cause him to vanish.
