Kirby's Air-raid (カービィのエアライド, wikirby) is the 16th event match of the 51 event matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Event 16: Kirby's Air-raid is one of the 51 Event Matches of the Event Mode in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

The player controls Kirby and must win a 38 second stock match against a team of 10 yellow Kirbys and a default Kirby on the Corneria stage. The CPU Kirby fighters' artificial intelligence is set at Level 5.
The player controls Kirby and must defeat a team of ten other Kirbys. The team of Kirbys do not damage the player; they just walk back and forth. The Player, however, also cannot damage them with your attacks. Instead, the player must use the Warp Star items that appear on the stage to KO them. There is a 38 second time limit for the player to KO every single Kirby.

When the match starts, Kirby will spawn on the Great Fox's tail on the right side of the stage, while the CPU Kirbys spawn on the left side of the stage. Attacks and thrown items will will pass through each character without causing any damage, hitstun, knockback, or hitlag. The selection of items is limited to the Warp Star, and the CPU Kirbys can only be KO'd with the Warp Star. The CPU Kirbys will not attack the player's Kirby; instead, they will walk back and forth.
It may be somewhat difficult to KO some of the Kirbys, especially if there are some that appear on the bottom platform of the Great Fox. A good strategy is to try and catch the large groups first, picking off any stragglers at the end.

Trivia
Trivia
*This event match's name is likely a reference to wikirby, which was previously cancelled on the Nintendo 64, but was later released for the Nintendo GameCube two years after the release of Melee.
*The title may be a reference to the then-canceled racing game, Kirby's Air Ride, which was later made for the Gamecube.
*During the battle, the theme for Green Greens plays.
