The player plays as the {{SSBB|Ice Climbers}} on [[Rainbow Cruise]] and must KO the {{SSBB|Yoshi}}s in order that they appear, which mimics a rainbow: red, pink, yellow, green, light blue, and blue. If the player KO's the wrong Yoshi, either intentionally or by [[self destruct]]ing, the event ends in failure, so the player will have to be careful on which Yoshi to target next.

*The name and concept of the event appear to come from the Yoshi Rainbow [[bonus points|bonus]] in the original ''Super Smash Bros.'', which awards 50,000 points (15,000 points in the Japanese version) to a player who KOs the [[Yoshi Team]] in the order they appear.
Stand at the top and spam the up smash, as the Yoshi's spawn here, are very light, and get no spawning invincibility. If you can't do this the event will be hard. Even Derek's "stupidity" can lead to failure.

*In this event, the stage music is Obstacle Course, which is usually not available on Rainbow Cruise, but rather on [[Yoshi's Island (SSBB)|Yoshi's Island]].
