Enguarde is a recurring "Animal Buddy" in the [[Donkey Kong (universe)|DK series]]. He is a blue swordfish, and comes to assist the Kongs in underwater levels. He was the Kong's only means of attacking foes underwater. Enguarde is also one of the few animal buddies to appear in the DKC trilogy.
