East Geek Smash is a Smash organization located in Tokyo, Kantō, known for organizing, running, and streaming various events in the Tokyo metropolitan region. The organization began with streaming Smash 4 events in the final year of the game and transitioned to Ultimate, streaming many Tokyo events including Weekly Smash Party ~Sumapa~ and those in the Umebura series, as well as organizing the namesake EGS Cup series. East Geek Smash gained greater recognition in the post-pandemic metagame, especially as they became one of the main organizers of the Kagaribi series, the largest Japanese Smash series of all time. Aside from Kagaribi, East Geek Smash also organizes the Seibugeki series and regularly provides Japanese streams for major international events, such as GENESIS.
