Note: Snake's comment "kind of strange for a wolf to have friends" seems a bit odd, since wolves are famous for hunting in packs, although some species do keep to themselves. It's most likely a reference to Sniper Wolf, a ''Metal Gear Solid'' villain who, unlike other snipers, could shoot at Snake without help from a spotter.
